Federal Tax Credit / Rebates

The residential and commercial federal tax credit for solar wind, and other alternative
energy systems is up to 30% of the total system cost. Many electric utilities are also
offering cash rebates. With combined incentives, the total cost for a renewable energy
system can be reduced by 60%-70%. Be aware, utilities will only offer rebates for grid tied systems.
